This idea is interesting for any textile, footwear (or similar) company to increase sales by incorporating this element in their shops and intensifying customer service. It would be useful for companies and for engineers who could develop this idea.Every single customer has ever experienced when shopping the fact of finding the product you want but not in the colour or the size you need. The solution that I propose is placing a computer terminal as interactive unit where clients can see and place orders of some out of stock products or of the product in other size or colour. Not only is this a very interesting way to differ and improve customer service but means a good feedback as well. To avoid customers who could start ordering out of control without the intention of purchase (with the possible consequence of accumulation of storage and upsetting the stock and sales forecast) it should be paid by credit card in advance and of course, keeping the same terms of sale (for example, having regard to refunds).
